Google AdSense and Making Money Blogging

In your journey with Niche Blogging, Google AdSense is going to be your money maker. All the money you make off of your blogs will come from Google AdSense. You may think that it is bad to limit your possibilities right? Well, this is true but for starters its best to focus on one thing and then once you have a firm grasp on it you can move onto the next thing.

However, the system for making money online with Google AdSense is fool proof. It always works as long as you do what is required from you. It may work better for some people but in every case that I have tried, I have made a least some kind of income with each site I put AdSense on.

How Does it Work?

The way it works is pretty simple, you put up a Google ad on your website and every time someone comes to your site and clicks on an ad you are given some cash. The amount of cash that you can receive depends on a lot of factors but for now the main thing you should know is that different topics and niches have different CPC factors.

A topic as finance will make you a lot more money per click but the competition is more likely to be very fierce. This is why good keyword research is very important and should not be ignored. If you can find a high paying keyword with low competition you can in for a very nice pay day nonce your site gets that number one ranking on Google.

Colors and Placement

So now that you know how Google AdSense works you can start to implement it on your blogs and make money. It is important to note that the colors that you use on you ads will give you different results and they will vary a lot.

Usually you will want to try to blend in your ads to the background of your site as much as you can. Use the same link colour that you use on your website as well. This way the visitors on your site will think that your ads are real content and will click on them more often. This means more money for you as a blogger.

How To Implement Google AdSense On Blogger

The last thing you should know is how to set-up AdSense on your blogger account. It is very simple to do but for beginners you may need some guidance. Here is a link to a post that will show you how to easily set up Google AdSense on your blogger blog.

One last thing to know is that if don't have traffic coming to your websites then you are never going to make any money with Niche Blogging. Your goal here is to get your sites indexed and ranked well in Google and then get people coming to your site via Search Engines.

This is the number one way to easily make money online. If you don't have traffic from the Search Engines then you are never going to make money with your niche blogs.

If you need help with getting Search Traffic read some other posts on my site that will tell you how to get more links to your site and get ranked well in Google.

How To Write Content For Your Online Blog

Once you get your blog set up you will need to consider what kind of content you intend on putting on your blog. This is important because many people spend way to much time in this area when they really don't need to. When it comes to Niche Blogging you do not spend that much time on content creation at all.

How Many Words?

The main thing you need to remember here is that all you need on a niche blog is unique content that is informative but not too long. You don't need to write posts that are 1000 words long. I always try to keep my posts around 400-500 words long on any niche blog.

As you can see even on this blog, I try to keep my word count in my posts to about 400 words. This means that my posts are long enough to get indexed and to be considered as decent content by Google but at the same time it won't take too much of my time to fulfill. This is very important as many people who work online waste their time in areas that won't give you that much in return for the time you invest in them.

An important part of making money online with blogging is that you need to know exactly how much time you should be spending on each task. A task such as link building will take most of your time and content creation should take far less.

How Many Posts Should I Have On My Blog?

A lot of people ask me how many posts should I put on my niche blog? Well, that all depends really. Usually I say to start off with anywhere from 5-10 and then see where it goes from there. If your blog is doing alright then you probably don't need anymore content.

If your blog really starts to take off and is getting bigger and is making you a decent amount of money, then by all means maybe add a few more posts. This way you can build the site even more and target more keywords then before.

Tags

Tags are very important, and in Blogger they are called labels. Be sure to go through all your posts and pick tags that are relevant to what your blog and content are about. Each tag or label will create its own separate page in ether Word Press or Blogger, and this means that you will get more pages on your blog.

The more pages you have on your website the better off you will be with the search engines. Ideally you should pick somewhere between 5-10 tags per post that you make on each of your niche blogs. Try not to go over 10 because this can be seen as spamming and you may get in trouble from Google as a result.

At the end of it all you should try to get somewhere around 30 pages on your blog or website and that's all you really need to do. Be sure to create your home page, archive page, contact page and others that are necessary.

As you can see you really don't need to put that much effort in the content creation for these niche blogs. Just get what you need and go from there. Once you start getting traffic and clicks from Google AdSense you can decide on how you are going to grow your site.

Link Building Will Make Sure You Get Paid

Link Building is very important in making money with Google AdSense, and making sure that you will get paid for being a blogger. The process of link building is fairly simple, you get others to link towards your site and in return your ranking on Google goes higher.

The more links that you have pointing to your site, the better your ranking on Google will be. With Niche Blogging you want to be able to get to that number one spot so that you can make as much money as you possibly can from your website or blog.

The process for link building is simple but requires the most time and work on your part. Almost always, you will want to be putting about 80% of your time and effort into link building. If your site isn't ranking in the number one spot on Google, then you need to build more links.

There are many different types of link building and here they are...

Writing Articles and Submitting them to Article Directories

Writing Articles is probably the first thing that you will want to do. I suggest in your first month of creating your niche blog, submit somewhere around 5-10 articles and no more but also no less. Be sure to at least submit 5 articles.

After the first month, go about submitting 1 article per week. If you submit an article to Ezine Articles then you will get a free link back to your blog which will give you link juice. Just be sure to link back to your site in the resource box. Also, and this is very important, make sure that the anchor text that you use is related to your keyword or site.

These articles should be around 300-400 words long and should be about the posts and topics on your site. Just rewrite the articles you already have written and put them there.

Links From Your Own Sites

If you happen to have many other blogs, just send a couple links from your all ready existing sites to your new one. This will help it get indexed and will also give it some ranking on Google as well.

Just make sure that the topics between the two sites are very relevant other wise you may hurt your ranking instead of making it better.

Blogroll Link Exchanges

The last thing I am going to talk about is link exchanges with other bloggers. How this works is you e-mail other webmaster and ask them to throw up your link on their site and in exchange you link back to them.

This is great for getting a new site out there known, especially if you can get a link from a website with a very high Page Rank.

Do a search on Google and find sites that are from the same topic as yours. Go through them and e-mail about 100 webmasters a month or so. This may seem time consuming but it really works.

Remember, those who put in the most effort will get the most benefit out of it.

Rsearching Niche Topics For Money Making Blogs

Research is very important if you are creating a niche blog, and can hurt you a lot if you skip this step. It is the most important part of making money off of niche blogs.

Ideally if you are making a niche blog targeted after one keyword you want to look for a keyword that has a decent payout, a good amount of search volume, and as less competition as possible.

This is vital because if you can manage to get a keyword that fits these characteristics, you will be able to make a site that will get traffic, won't require very much work or very little work on your part and will still be able to make a decent monthly income.

So the first thing that you need to do is go to the Google Keyword Tool, and type in some search terms that you think people are going to search for. These search terms or keywords can be anything because everyone searches for different things. Anything that comes to mind will work here.

Once you find one and punch it it, you will want to pay attention to what the CPC (Click-Per-Cost) of that particular keyword is and how many people are searching for it. Again, you will want to pick something that has a CPC of at least $1.00 per click and something that has around a 3000 monthly search volume. Anything that is less will not be worth your while, and should be ignored.

You will then need to go to Google and type in your keyword to see how the competition is going to be. The only thing you really need to pay attention to is the Page Rank of the websites that show up. You are only going to look at the top 4 search results that pop up so ignore everything else that is below it.

If the top four searches for your keyword all bring up sites that have a Page Rank of 3 or less, then this means that you can easily obtain a number one ranking for that particular keyword you have chosen. If any websites in the top 4 are ether a Page Rank of 4 or higher then you need to ditch that keyword and try another.

With Niche Blogging you are searching for easy keywords that are going to make you money with the least amount of work required on your part. Target keywords that have a decent CPC and search volume, but that also have weak competition.

This way you are almost always guaranteed to make money off of the niche blog you make that is targeted after your keyword.

How To Get Paid To Blog Online?

If you are looking for a new adventure, a challenge, or just some extra cash, then you can try your hand at blogging. Blogging is not hard to do, but it is something that will take time, effort and a lot of patience on your part.

The main system that I use, and that you will need to also take part in, is niche blogging. I will go over this topic more so in another post but the basic system goes like this...

1. Make 10 Niche Blogs To Start Of With

2. Get Content on those blogs and launch them

3. Start Link Building and Writing Articles

4. Keep getting more links

5. Put up Google AdSense and make passive income

This system does work and I even do it myself so I have proof that you can make money off of Google AdSense and blogging.

One thing you need to note is that I use blogger to host the majority of my blogs. This means that if you are broke and can't put any money into this then that is perfectly fine and okay. All you need to succeed with making money with blogging is to have a lot of patience and discipline.

You will be using PPC Marketing and Google AdSense to make the majority of your income. You will strive to get all your traffic from search engines such as Google, and this is very important. You will be taught basic SEO tactics that will allow you to get a high ranking and Google.

If you have a high ranking in Google, you will get much more targeted traffic and therefore more people will click on your ads. This is highly important if you want to get paid to blog online. If you do not have the right kind of traffic you will never make any money online ever.

I'll be talking about some more methods of how to start with niche blogging, but for now just try to understand what it means and how the system works. You will be making many "Mini-blogs" and try to make money off of many websites instead of just one.

It sounds like a lot of work and it really is, but in the long run you will find out that it is the by far the easiest and best way to make money with blogging with the least amount of work required. The only downside to this system is that it takes a lot of work to get started up.

Once you get going though, you will be sailing smoothly as long as you understand the fundamentals on making money online with blogging.
